Leonidas is an ambitious, hardworking and dynamic advocate, who read law at Newcastle, United Kingdom, where he was awarded the unique LL.B (Hons) Barrister Exempting Degree, among the very few. During his studies, Leonidas participated in the Student Law Office Clinical Programme as part of his academic and professional development. He was involved in a ‘‘firm’’ of students specializing in Criminal Cases, with precise interest in appealing a high profile murder case, among others.
Upon completion of his aforesaid Law Degree, Leonidas was called by The Honourable Society of Middle Temple, London, to the Utter Bar of England & Wales and simultaneously been honoured with the courtesy Title of an Esquire (Esq.).
Returning to Cyprus Leonidas commence pupillage at the Attorneys General’s Office, where he gained significant experience in a vast range of civil cases, in particular, experience in the compulsory acquisition of Land.
Following his Call to the Cyprus Bar (10), he joined Haris Kalogirou & CO LLC, Law Chambers as a qualified barrister/advocate.
Practising: Banking law, debt collections, claims in respect of civil wrongs such as accidents and professional negligence, criminal law and family law
